Ok is it just me or has Harrisonburg become overrun with freaking flies? I walk outside and I can see hundreds of these nasty little buggers all trying to sneak into the house and contaminate everything with their nasty fly germs.

I tried making a fly trap out of a jar and some pancake syrup. I figured the flies would smell the syrup and fly in the jar and get stuck. But no these flies aren’t even smart enough (or perhaps they are too smart, kind of like Raptors) to go after free food. I guess I will go out later and get some kind of spray.
